Oikos - September and October of 2011
Oikos has quite a few events planned for September and October. The following is a short list. Please contact Owen Daniels for further information.
-September 11th - Oikos Picnic - Service will be held at the normal time at ITT Hilliard and then we will travel to Homestead Park for a time of fellowship in the great outdoors.
-September 18th - Oikos will be traveling to the Bethel Baptist Fellowship for a joint service. The normal meeting will not be held at ITT Hilliard.
-October 28th, 29th, 30th - Oikos Retreat - Starting on Friday, Oikos members and guests will be checking into Berlin Inn & Suites for a weekend on meditating on the purpose of the Church. We will fellowship in the beauty of Amish country and enjoy a bit of the simple life.
-Short North and Campus Evangelism - Want to learn how to evangelize? Oikos will be taking groups down to campus at the start of the OSU term to talk with students. These are always incredibly engaging and uplifting times in sharing God's word.
-Black Friday Evangelism - Each year, Oikos takes muffins and tracts to the hundreds of people waiting for deals on the day after Thanksgiving. Rise early (2:00 AM) and join us in the cold! At the end of evangelism, we will share a meal together.
-Genesis of a Legacy Bible Study - This is our monthly Bible Study being held in Grove City. Written by Ken and Steve Ham, this engaging study is helping us to learn about how to leave a lasting spiritual legacy for those that follow us.
